walking in the rain

We went for a walk in the rain today It was really mild and nice along the way we came upon some lovely sights...the are the pictures that follow. Weird gray fungus

The puddles had bubbles in them from the raindrops falling from the trees

This fungus looked like a creme brule
but I don't think its so appetizing

the rain drops on the pine needles so pretty










This was a bunch of tree roots by the side of the road, lots of texture there










I think I may of enhanced the colour a little too much on this one but its still a nice shot. There were lots of Chanterelles on the walk too.

I love the colours in this one so pale but so vivid as well

this one I liked because of the ruggedness of it. its well past its best but now its so interesting

lovely red berries everywhere

some lovely trees covered with old mans beard

Pretty

these ones look like rotten apples

but the slugs still like them

some little fall asters

more chanterelles under some bushes

a lovely yellow one

this shot is nice too

Someone has put a net out

I wonder what they are trying to catch


there was a seal having a look at it but I missed

him in the shot

a little white one beside a clam shell in the woods

this is inside the woods in the park isn't it just wonderful

We really do love our spot.






we came home to our cozy little cottage and had a bowl of beef stew that had been simmering while we walked. What a treat .
